The 2026 Nictus Holdings Padel Day & Fundraising Event, held in Windhoek, brought together more than 100 attendees and 30 teams to raise support for eight local charities, strengthening the Group’s commitment to community impact and long-term value creation.
This year’s event supported Huis Maerua, Netwerk, the Cancer Association of Namibia, Legacy of Love, Have-A-Heart, Lechem Foundation, One Economy Foundation and N/a’an ku sê. These organisations contribute to education, healthcare, social development and animal welfare, demonstrating how caring for one another can create lasting value for the communities they serve.
Nictus Holdings Limited, together with its operating businesses Auas Motors, Nictus Furniture, Glasfit, Trentyre, Tiger Wheel & Tyre, AssistU, Hakos Capital & Finance, Corporate Guarantee, First Car Rental, Build it Walvis Bay and Rehoboth, is proud to support the beneficiaries in their ongoing missions.
This year marked the third annual Nictus Holdings fundraising event, made possible through close collaboration with the Group’s valued suppliers. Their generous contributions formed an important part of the initiative's success and reflect the strong supplier relationships that Nictus Holdings Group values highly, some of which span more than 50 years.
Following the padel matches, the day continued with a charity auction featuring more than 50 items donated by suppliers of the Nictus Holdings Group and its subsidiaries. These contributions gave attendees the opportunity to bid in support of the beneficiaries and helped increase the overall impact of the fundraising initiative.
“Our Charity Padel Day is an opportunity to come together, strengthen relationships and make a meaningful difference through shared purpose,” said Philippus Tromp, Managing Director of Nictus Holdings Limited. “Together, we are making an impact that will extend far beyond the padel court. As Exceptional Wealth Creators, we believe that lasting value is created when we all work together towards something greater than ourselves.”
Tromp also extended his appreciation to the Group’s valued suppliers for their partnership, generosity and important role in the success of the initiative. He also thanked every employee, supplier, sponsor, partner and participant who gave their time, resources and support, adding: “Above all, we are grateful to our Heavenly Father for these blessings and for the opportunity to be in the service of others.”
Through initiatives such as the Nictus Holdings Padel Day, the Group continues to support meaningful partnerships that contribute to stronger communities and create long-term value for stakeholders.
