Nictus Holdings has expanded its automotive service footprint to Hosea Kutako International Airport with the opening of a shared facility for Auas Motors, Glasfit and TrenTyre. Situated alongside its First Car Rental subsidiary, the development brings vehicle sales and support, automotive glass, tyre services and car rental into one accessible precinct.

The development advances the Group’s strategy to operate from its own properties and to place its businesses closer to the customers and markets they serve. The airport location offers improved convenience for travellers, rental customers, fleet operators and businesses working in the surrounding transport and commercial environment.

Auas Motors will focus on servicing and supporting rental fleet customers, Glasfit will provide automotive glass replacement and chip repair services, while TrenTyre will offer tyre fitment, balancing and related tyre services. First Car Rental will continue to provide vehicle rental services from the adjacent property. Together, the businesses create a more convenient service point for customers using the airport precinct.

Philippus Tromp, Managing Director of Nictus Holdings Limited, said: “This development at Hosea Kutako International Airport reflects how we have been growing as a Group. We are using our properties purposefully and placing our businesses together where there is opportunity to collaborate. In doing so, we are better able to serve customers who rely on efficient automotive, rental and related services.”

By locating these complementary businesses in close proximity, Nictus Holdings is creating opportunities for greater collaboration across its entities while giving customers a simpler, more connected service experience. The investment also reflects the Group’s continued confidence in Namibia and its commitment to building a wider, more accessible operational footprint.
